Ellnutsmalljaws We Made a Promise

You just scared the mud out of me with your "Signing off...last post" message. I honestly thought this had something to do with your health and you were writing your obituary (not joking). Am so very glad I was wrong.

Remember we made each other a promise that we would fight to get well and still be around through 2010, so I'm giving you an update from my end. Things have begun to turn 'south' for me and I will be having my first procedure this coming Tuesday (1-5-10) at 7:45 am. Two weeks later I will have another procedure. As soon as I have sufficiently healed, the major surgery will be done and it will take approximately 3 months for me to recover.

March 25th is my birthday and I have set a goal to be finished with surgery and therapy and doing some serious fishing on that date.

No matter what we have to walk through to get to the better side of life, WE CAN MAKE IT. I'll pray for you and you pray for me.

I just went over and read that thread too. Thats sad if Elnut has left the forum as he had such great posts. I liked the man and enjoyed when he talked about other things too. He was over here and we talked and I enjoyed it. He has been through so much I can understand if he doesnt want to hear negativity from other fisherman. He doesnt need that crap.

Hey Bug...I have no idea what your health situation is right now...but I'm wishing you the best. I have heard al ot of people with serious health concernes say that attitude means a lot and a good attitude can go a long way in the recovery process...here's to you Bug!
