Balloon Boy Dad
Have you heard the latest on this? Now he's saying that his confession was a lie to appease the authorities and prevent his wife from being deported! This man's disrespect for the justice system never ceases to amaze me! I think a judge needs to haul him into court and ask him, under oath, "Are these statements you've made to the press true?" That will leave him with two choices:
1) Admit that what he's saying to the press now is a complete lie (which is what I personally believe), or
2) Admit that he committed perjury when he originally plead guilty and confessed.
He can't have it both ways!

i saw him being interviewed on tv and i think hes a very shady character who is doing everything possible to staw in the spotlight.
If he is married to that woman then doesnt that make her a US citizen ??

Yes, but if she's convicted of a felony, or even certain misdemeanors, she can lose that citizenship and be deported. Part of the plea deal is that she wouldn't lose her citizenship. So now on Larry King Live he's come out and basically said he committed perjury to prevent that from happening.

Re: Balloon Boy Dad
It sounds like he is more concerned with his inventions than he is with his wife's citizenship. Perhaps we could keep her and deport him!

Re: Balloon Boy Dad
He will drag this out as long as possible and try to get some great big book deal out of it.
Now if he could get his wife to be the Mistress of Tiger Woods...er uh wait that's already been played....my bad.:p

She is does not become a a U.S citizen automatically when she married a U.S. citizen.

Re: Balloon Boy Dad
i was a little cloudy on the citizenship deal but this guy is one heck of a character. IMO he is not worried about her getting deported i think he is just trying to pull a cover up story out and look like he did nothing wrong and i agree he is for sure guilty of a few charges.
