2010 Kentuckiana Fly Fishing Show
Guys, I talked to Peter and he thought I should mention the 2010 Kentuckiana Fly Fishing Show to you. I am president of Derby City Fly Fishers, a non-profit club here in Louisville and each year we sponsor a fly fishing show specifically geared toward fly fishermen and those who think they might like to get into the sport.
It's a fairly large show where we bring in expert fly casters, guides, retailers, rod reps, fly tiers, etc. So you can come shop the latest gear and talk to some of the best guides you'll ever meet for fly fishing. These folks come from all over the east coast because this is such an excellent show. If you've ever been interested in salmon, steelhead, muskie, smallmouth, or you name it, there is a guide there willing to get you pointed in the right direction.
In addition, we have seminars that will run all day where we discuss how and where to fish. The focus of this year's show is to introduce fishermen to regional waters that often go fairly unused but are hidden gems for fishing.
For more information on the show you can visit the Derby City Fly Fishers website at www.derbycityflyfishers.com.

Guys, the show is in two days, and it's the last time I'll bump it up the board. I've talked to all of the vendors and they laughed at the snow forecast we have. Many of them are from up north and said they don't start thinking about it until it hits about 15 inches.
So come on out and check out what Louisville has going on in the world of fly fishing.
