Cumberland River this past weekend
With the low generation and relatively good weather, I wondered if anyone hit the river this past weekend. I saw that the water temperature was in the low 40's, so the fish might not have been too lively. But this is the best weather we're likely to have for a while. I didn't make it down there myself because my last pair of waders developed a case of the leaks and I need to buy a new pair. My birthday is coming up next month, so I may treat myself. Once I get some new waders, I'll be waiting for a day when the generation is below 5k and the air temp is above 50 degrees.

3 of my buddies went and they only caught 3. They floated from the dam to the chute.

The low 40's is great temps for lively trout! I was in orientation all week up in Louisville, so I wasn't able to get to the CR before the flood gates re-opened. Looks like I didn't miss out on anything according to everyone else I talked to.....the CR is hurting!
