Guntersville
A friend and myself have decided to give G-ville a try. We are planning on going down around the middle of March. The question I have is where to stay. The state park is $100+ that time of the year. I would like to find something a little cheaper. I have looked on the internet but not havin much luck. Do any of you guys know of anywhere you have stayed that you would recomend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Guntersville
Try calling Tee Kitchens at 256-859-1465. He rents out two trailors and a cabin at VERY reasonable rates. They are located within a five mile drive from two ramps (Waterfront Gas Station and Seibold Creek..about 8 miles from Goose Pond) and, though he doesn't own a dock, they are within a stones throw from the lake.
Check out his website at http://www.alabamaoutdoors.net/tee.html
You will be hard pressed to find a nicer and more genuine guy than Tee! If it's your first visit, he is also a guide (again, VERY reasonable prices) and is well worth the money. Every time I go down I stay in one of his trailors and hire him to show me where the fish are holding and the baits they are hitting on. He puts me on quality fish year in and year out!
Hope this helps!
