1-22-10 FNF Cumberland Update
The recent rains have stained the water in Indian Creek with 2-3ft visibilty in the creeks. Water temp is 46.5.
The bite was awesome this evening. I boated 7 smallies 15"-19" form 5p to dark. The fish seemed much more active in the creeks instead of main points where I fished this morning. Boated one 16" this morning on a main point.

Hey Jeff,
We did that in reverse. Fished creek in am and main lake in afternoon. One pull down---0 bass, one 8-9 pound striper...fun on the fly. Worst day I've had in a long time. Do you mind me asking what fly and the leader depth? We fished the stained water too with jigs and cranks...nothing. Had a great day just being there though. Good job Jeff

Great report. Makes me wish I had made plans to go today.
Maybe I can stow away in your boat sometime....we must be neighbors.

Jeff, glad to hear you Got On Em ;). Congrats on the Smallies :):).
Got back into town late last night and thought about going today ( Saturday ), but was just too tirrrrrrrrredd. Looking outside this morning, bad decision, "cloud cover, fog"...should have been out there!

Could be, "follow the shad" to that warmer water flowing into the creeks? Hope this helps :):)
