Could this be the best thing to happen to UK?

A loss is not the end of the world. This could be a learning moment for a team loaded with talent, but low on experience. This could be a wake up moment for UK. Now we have to wait and see how they react.

We fumbled, plain and simple...couldn't match the emotion and intensity level that South Carolina came with.

Horn has our number, and Downey was the best player in the gym tonight, regardless of who is on our roster. Congrats to the Gamecocks on the win - They earned it and deserved it. We did not.

The CATS will be fine, but there was no way they were going to run the table the entire season...and this won't be their last loss of the year. Let's hope they rally and don't put loss #2 on the board Saturday against a very formidable Vandy squad.

KY is a VERY good team.........AND sometimes you need to stumble to move forward.

I believe KY is going to do serious DAMAGE in the tourney.......maybe win it all.

I HATE KY, but watched the game today :) . It is something magical when you see this caliber of play, and it doesn't happen in college very often.

I think this is a VERY good team......and I think 4 players will be in the BIG LEAGUE next year.

I always start these sports postings by saying I could care less about college or pro sports either one. But...common sense tells us that losing is good for the soul...You have to taste the bitter pill in order to experience how sweet victory really is...plus, a team doesn't have to be #1 in order to be the best in the country when it is all said and done.

Yep, I've been saying it for weeks they needed this loss. It's good when reality slaps you upside the head, it makes you hungry. Now maybe Calipari will stop talking like Confusious all the time, lol.
There are such things as good losses and this was one of them.
That Downey kid has a motor, WOW!
