Claude "Fish" Fishburn gonna be at the Classic
Fans of "Team Grandma" will be happy to hear "Fish" Fishburn will be at the Bassmasters Classic - IMO he is one of the best weigh-in guys around and I hope ESPN picks him up for a while:
BASS just released news that Fish Fishburne will return to the BASS stage at the upcoming Lay Lake Bassmaster Classic, where he'll provide reporting, analysis and his trademark wit. He'll also make appearances at the Classic outdoor expo.
Keith Alan will continue to handle the emcee duties for the Classic weigh-ins, joined by tournament director Trip Weldon and former two-time Classic champion Hank Parker. That will create a three-mic team onstage – Alan, Parker and Fishburne.
BASS quoted Fishburne as saying: "I want to make it happy and fun and exciting — I want to help create a good time for everyone there — whether I'm, say, in the stands talking with fans or backstage interviewing an angler waiting to weigh in, or on the Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo floor."
There was no indication that Fishburne's involvement with BASS or ESPN will extend beyond the Classic.

Fish Fishburne is great. From what I have been told there is going to be two stages and they will flip back and forth between him and Keith. There may be more fan involvment as well. I will probably be heading down Thursday night. Should be fun.

Guess it depends on what you like, but a little of some people goes a LONG way. That is about as nice as I can put it.

I like Fish better than anybody Bass has had.

I wish they would just bring him back altogether. He is a nut -- did you see him on Ultimate Match Fishing this past season? Hilarious.:D

I like him as well. He was goofy when goofy wasn't cool! He started the in your face wit and antics many many years ago. I enjoyed his fishing show too.
