First time to Guntersville......SERIOUS Help needed :) :)
Hey.
I'm thinking of going next weekend............I've NEVER been there, and it is an opportunity to add another fishin trip.
I'm pretty good on Dale Hollow and KY/Barkley Lake, and would be willing to share info with ANYONE willing to help me out......
Any takers.

Geo

Go to the Bass Pro Shop reel counter and ask if the one who fishes Guntersville a lot is working, he can help you.
If going for the first time I would wait until the end of March through April and you'll get spoiled!

This site is outdated when it comes to current fishing reports but so are most fishing reports. However, this website has some season pattern information along with tactics and presentations that will work depending upon the conditions. Give it a look as you may find it helpful.

I fished there in early Feb 2005 and there were multiple patterns going on at that time. I caught my fish on a Crigged lizard on a hard bottom with scattered grass, jerkbaits and ripping traps out of the grass. There was also a few fish spawning. Good luck.

Ed knows his stuff, but also talk to Rod, who's usually there Thursday evenings, sometimes Tuesdays. He's fished it quite a bit, and he has pics on the braggin board to prove it. I would suggest having a GPS or good map, because there are quite a few shallow spots from what I hear. When are you headed down? PM me if you want help with the GPS/mapping stuff.

Hey..........THANKS all that responded...........
Unfortunately, weather and work committments are keeping me away this weekend. I think I'm going to put a trip back on the sched for the first weekend in March........Maybe I can do that, since I had to cancel my end of FEB Dale trip..........
Seems like a good trade.
