Obama and the Dems just lost Nevada

Nevada and Vegas are totally up in arms over the lastest mouth blooper by the great one. He wanted to urge everyone not to go to Las Vegas and gamble their money away.
I know what he meant, but why does he continue to say idiotic stuff. He also wants all Americans to quit watching Cable news as it's tainted our minds. We need to get our News from a credible source such as the Big three networks in the evening.

Now he's trying to tell us what we can watch on television.

Democrats and Obama are killing themselves. They would be better off to SHUT UP for about a month or so, not possible I know, but they are so shooting themselves in the foot.

Back to a soon Republican controlled congress, Dems are self destructing.

Thats what happens when you back a fake into the corner. He is searching for ways to confuse issues and shake the american people off his tail....

I think it's too late. He took an election win (not a landslide win) and thought that the people really wanted HIM. Wrong!! Even with all the issues of the GOP and his slam campaign he sqeeks out a win and they believe people are on board. Haha the votes they got were protest votes.

Here is what the Las Vegas mayor had to say about President Obama's remarks.
"I guess you've all seen the president's remarks or read about the president's remarks, well I've got some remarks of my own. I was back in Washington, D.C. about two weeks ago, going up and down the halls of the capitol telling people about our economy here, trying to get them to be sympathetic to what we're trying to accomplish, then I have to read what President Obama said.
"He has a real psychological hang up about the entertainment capitol of the world. An apology won't be acceptable this time, I don't know where his vendetta comes from but we're not going to let him make his bones by lambasting Las Vegas, that's why (the press) is here today.
"He didn't learn his lesson the first time, but when he hurt our economy by his ill conceived rhetoric, we didn't think it would happen again, but now that it has I want to assure you, when he comes [B]I'll do everything I can to give him the boot back to Washington and to visit his failures back there.[/B]
"I gotta tell you this, everybody says I shouldn't say it, but I gotta tell you the way it is. This president is a real slow learner."

Gotta give the Mayor a big thumbs up. I can honestly say I have never seen a more inept President. Just can't keep his mouth shut. Ya, I know what he was getting at but he gets so wrapped up trying to work a crowd into a frenzy he just loses control of common sense. I wonder if that what he learned from all those years going to Rev. Wrights church. Oh he wasn't listening all those years....:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Everyone here knows I am anti Obama, but I just don't see the problem with what he said:

Perhaps that’s not such bad advice. After all, who would suggest gambling with your college tuition?"


If advice like this would have been heeded before Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, most of us would have been fine with it. As far as I am concerned, it might be the most intelligent advice the POTUS has ever given.

I understood his point as we all did. But, he keeps pointing the finger at Las Vegas. There are plenty of places people gamble away the money they can't afford to lose, alot of people spend their money on booze and drugs as well.
There are families that depend on the income from the gambling and entertainment industry. Would we feel like it was okay for him to have used the Kentucky Derby twice instead of Las Vegas. Or for him to say we should not go fishing, boating, hunting? It's none of his business.
We need a President, we don't need some guy who thinks he's our daddy. He should spend his time focusing on being a daddy to Congress. Congress and the Pres. are the ones spending all our, kids and grandkids, money. JMO

He gives a speach, says something else stupid and the DOW goes down another 200 points.:mad:

i can't stand the slimey dems any more than you, but i see this a little differently. i agree with some of what he said. poor people shouldn't go on a cruise or blow their money in a casino. that's a losing situation for sure and their family will suffer. seems like most of the people i see buying lottery tickets are raggedy bums with a car load of dirty younguns. they should be saving their money and they wonder why they can't get ahead. the right should have kept their mouth shut on the vegas subject.
