Posting this here cause I know some of you go over there too. We caught 8 fish. One at 4, 3 at 2-3. Man those are fat fish! Mainly caught them on cranks and rattles. I will go back that's for sure. No motor issues or lost rods so that's a good thing! We did blow a tire on the way back, I'm starting to think we might be cursed.
Not necessarily cursed...just ill planned. :-)
I was taught from a young age to prepare a pre-trip list. This list was a check list to ensure everything is spot on before you left. It contained things like check oil for both boat and tow rig, check tire pressure both boat/rig, check lug nuts, check drain plug, check batteries, etc...
I have only had one issue using the list...and I blame it on being hung over from too many barley pops the night before. I almost sunk the boat at the ramp...damned drain plug
That's the thing. We do the same thing. I'm telling you it's a curse!:D

dont feel bad, last year we had a blow out on the way and I fell in and almost drown, then on the way back home we had another blow out and was pulled over by a cop. hell of a day and we caught one bass.:eek:
