While Kevin did not win the Classic he did jump from 14th to 8th on the last day and his earnings, made him the 30 person to join the Million Dollar Club in Pro Bass Fishing.
If you are not aware, Kevin is a Kentucky Native who took up pro fishing after a career in Horse Racing as a Jockey.
Kevin managed 5 fish limits all 3 days of the classic.
I always support our local pro fisherman in the elite series. Both mark and kevin. From what i know of them both are super guys ! Congrats to kevin for placing 8th in the b.m.c. Mark had a rough time of it as did some other high profile names. And if k.v.d. Ends up missing soon im sure the first suspect will be kreit ! Lol
Not only did he make a large jump to get in the top 10, he upgraded his limit all three days. He went 8-9 on day one to 10-11 and 15-8. Not sure if anybody else did that during the tourney.
