We shoot the 3 worse than the Cards......
That was ugly, I can say with confidence, that in my opinion, that was the first time this season we were drastically outcoached. No adjustments were made, and we looked horrible. Maybe it was just me, or did anybody else see a blown call here and there. Here and there meaning the first and second half. I don't mind losing to a team that deserves to win, but hate to lose to anybody in an ugly orange jersey.
We were severely outcoached....with that being said UT deserved to win....they got to most of the loose balls and just seemed to outplay us short of a spurt there in the second half...would like to blame this one on the refs but cant seem to do it...They deserved to win and are one of the teams to watch out for in the big dance for sure with wins over UK and KU.....hope this was an eye opening loss for the Cats....believe they need to realize that teams arent just gonna come out there and roll over for them
Go Big Blue
Loved it!!!

27-2!!!!!! just saying GO BIG BLUE
They must have been tired from doing the John Wall dance. Looks like they should have been practicing the Tennessee Walltz.:D
I don't see missing wide open shots as a coaching issue.
We just flat out shot the ball poorly...and played almost zero defense at times.
But, the good news is that we are 27-2...29-2 going into the SEC Tourney if we can beat Georgia and Florida...and Kansas is getting their butt whipped by Travis Ford right now.
looks like kansas was out all night doing the JOHN WALL dance also.

Missed shots had nothing to do with being out-coached. The fact that TN scored at will inside when they are a slower shorter team (maybe a little bit of zone?) or the fact that Cousins or Patterson was not part of the game plan until the end of the game (we could have scored any time inside) is the coaching issue. We played TN's game, other than a few fast breaks.
I wouldnt worry with Tenn. Worry about the Big East conference if they get far enough to play one of them. Syracuse and Villinova putting on a clinic right now.

Always gotta get a jab in on Louisville don't ya, lol. Well 2 losses is still an awesome year. But I've said all year and I'll continue to say Kentucky will NOT win a National title without outside shooting. That dribble drive street ball will only take you so far. My prediction is an Elite Eight for Ky and then home.

i kinda agree with the elite eight being the end of the road for UK. they have some good shooters, and hopefully they show up real soon. if they do, they will be in good shape for a title run. imo
GO CATS!!!!
