Run the lake today one end to the other and most of the ice is gone except in and around the coves.Water is COLD!!! Warmest I found was 37.The RENEGADE tournament is the 6th,next saturday.Hope to see most of you die hards there,it will be tough.Also tore up a new prop running in 50ft of water.There are some floaters just under the surface out in the middle so if you go be careful.
Buddy of mine said it was still muddy.
I almost went out today to just run the boat for a while(glad i did'nt).you either have terrible luck or you could tear up an anvil with a q-tip!!!i feel for ya man.
Chris,I thought I just have bad luck but cant really confirm that.I think it is due that I am on the water alot more than most.Didnt see anyone else out on the lake Friday.It snowed so hard on the lake you couldnt see nothing.One thing for sure if there is a flaw in anything I run I will find it.Hopefully I wont be down so much this year.See you on the water.
I have been on the lake 4 or 5 days the past week and a half as the week has gone on the water color has just got better. I was out there for a couple hours today and found about 39deg about everywhere on main lake. But even with the water coming up a couple of degrees and having a lil better color the fish still seam to have to same feelings about it. I guess lets hope for the best this next week maybe a fish or two will show up..good luck everyone be safe...........P.s.
