I went out Saturday afternoon - had a nibble or two - but 0 fish.
Surprised to find some 45 water temps - but didn't see any shad.
where did you find 45 degree water?
i highly doubt 45...unless it was 6 inches deep
Shallow water close to Walls - not 6" - but deep enough to float my boat - about 4pm.
No one could of been more surprised than me.
Two different sensors readout varied about 0.5 ?
Any of you guys know what the crappie bite is doing on Patoka?? May try to get out this weekend.

Nasty cold has kept me off the lake but have no doubt you can find some crappies. If I could I would be between Walls and Kings.
Sorry about your cold Raporter. I hope to see you up above Walls Ramp catchin crappie. I'll be the one in almost no water in the stumps catchin bass. Same as always this time of year. The one in the UofL hat. Going up there on Saturday, wish it was Friday tho. Anyone tell me anything about what it looks like up there right now. I amagine with the weather, the water has to hit 50 degrees. I will be glad to blab what I see up there when I go. Fair is fair.:D
I fished awhile Sunday. Didn't get a bite. :(
I was going up to the Lake on Monday, but this cold front that came through, I am pushing it back to Tuesday. Will report what I find to you guys and maybe post some pics over at my profile Tuesday after 5 pm. Will probably scan behind the Painters Creek Launch area and head across the lake near Fishermans Campground area along with the Marina over there.
We didn't get a chance to do everything we wanted to do. Had to cut the trip short just after an hour. I will post how things are after the 27th of March when I go back.
