Headed down to Big G in the morning
I am headed down to Guntersville in the morning. I hope to be fishing by lunchtime tomorrow. I still dont have a clue to were I am going to fish. Thinkin of starting at Mudd Creek. I have read it is a prety ggod creek. If anyone wants to share some info I would greatly appreciate it. As of now I'm gonna put a trap and a spinnerbait on the deck and cover some water. If I am way off someone please let me know. I will post how I did when I get back. Good or bad.

Good luck! Sounds like you've got the right idea from what I've read on the G-Ville guides reports. I also read that a lot of big fish are coming off of lizards, just something else to consider if the trap and spinnerbait bite slows down. Sounds like fishing is just getting better and better right now! We'll be down there on the 22nd for three days, can't wait! Let us know how you do! :D

Have a great time. Still another month before I go down for my trip. If you get to fish today or tomorrow try the big flat in South Sauty. It's on the main lake side of the little island when you enter SS. You may catch some good ones out of there but on the weekend there will probably be about 30 or 40 other boats fishing that spot with you. Another spot you may want to try is straight across from water front boat ramp. When you come out of the ramp go straight across the main lake into a little bay with an island in the middle. Fish the grass around the island and all around the bay. There will be lilly pad stems in the back of the bay to the right of the little island. That is a good spawing area because it has a hard bottom. Try a lizard and senko in that area. Again, these are all community holes so you'll probably have company.

First day went better than planned. Started fishing today at 12 30. My Dad and I caught 15 today. The biggest went 5 1/2. Most fish where 2-3 pounds. All fish were caught on a trap in 3-5 feet of water.

Was that in Mud Creek. I love that place early in the year.
I think I shot you an email about it.
