Hey guys, thinking about fishing taylorsville lake Tom. any info would be much appreciated.
This Tom has not been there this year. Actually my boat has not left the garage yet this year.
I always throw a black/blue or black jig, and I always fish deep.
I will be out there tomorrow so I guess we will see if we can find any fish!
According to the tournament board they didnt weigh a single fish this past weekend. Probably gonna be a tough bite but it usually is out there. I would also go with the jig dark colors and fish deep.
They need to drain that mudhole and start over.
went out saturday water temp 41 to 42, water stained saw lots of shad in the back of the creeks in about 4ft of water got one bite all day on citrus colored rattle trap.
The black and blue bitsy bug with a small black/blue paca craw has worked well for me in the past this time of year.
I quess Im going to have to hit T-ville also Sat...or Sunday...got to keep an eye on B-ball though...go Big Blue (my final 4 UK / Villanova / Kansas / Pitt.) !!!...Have to schedule fishing around March Madness first. But..sometimes...listening to the game on the radio is cool to, while fishing;...some of my best UK memories was listening to Mr. C...But anyway great times.
...T-ville will be ready fellas...for the next four weeks is the best time for big hogs from this lake...more than anytime of the year, you can bet that. Hope to have a positive report on Monday...if Im able to shake loose from the ball .....and chain. I still have to shake my head when I hear some of you fellas throwing up your hands on this water shed. It is one of the toughest lake to fish anywhere, no doubt about that...but the challenge is what I like best; like hunting for that 160 class buck. The bass are in there in groves...they haven't gone anywhere. I'll be like Ike Sat., if I hook a t-ville pig! So if you are out there...and you see a fella in a big blue tracker doing a dance on the front of the deck...you know it's me with a 5 pound pig....or Kentucky just danced all over Texas, one or the other.
