I know that these dont really count either but hit a pond on a farm that isnt really old and got a very pleasant surprise!! I caught 3 @5lbs and 1 @4, nephew caugt 2@5 1@6 and lost a big one. Caught mine on a swim bait ,nephew on a jig. Farm owner said the following.." Huh, didnt know anything over 12" was in there."
