Bluegrass 3/20
6 bass, 1 crappie only one keeper barely 18". Did catch a pb though on a trap! 21# carp. One heck of a fight!!! And since when do carp eat rattle traps! CO did do a full check on us too.

actually i hooked 3 carp thursday on a trap. only got one in without pulling off

Munched it. Had 5 of 6 hooks in. I thought I hooked a hawg til it ripped off braid like it was going out of style.

yea they fight like hell...so much fun. caught a 45 pounder few years ago on spinning tackle with like 8 lbs test...took me over an hour an a half to land it lol

Boys, the first picture is a buffalo and the second is a grass carp. I bowfish alot so I should know. Looks like I need to take a trip to Bluegrass for some rough fish eradication. I remember fishing in loon where the pipe come underneath Boonville New Harmony and there were carp coming out that drain left and right. Wish I would have had my bow that day.

A carp is a carp to me. Have at'm. They are always in the drain pipe on the bluegrass side.

Bow Fishing for Carp
I bet a guy could stand near that drain pipe when the water's low enough and use a bow to shoot those carp. Just need to wear waders and stand there and wait for them to come to you. That might be fun!
