the coolest thing I ever saw
I have to share this, and ask did any of you guys see this. I was watching the show, Funniest family videos. and they had this little radio controlled boat, they tied a fishing line with a hook and bait, to the back of the little boat. put it in this farm pond, and sent it out across the pond. and then this bass took the bait. they were trying to make the boat come back to the bank, and the bass was pulling the boat backward. as the bass fought and got weak, the little boat started towing her to the bank. the guy reached down and picked the boat up and on the end of the line was a bass. I though that was the cutest thing ever. if you saw this what did you think? :):)

I've seen that on Youtube before...pretty funny stuff. At one point I thought it was going to pull the boat under!!! I wonder if a guy could catch one one pulling a buzzbait behind it????
Re: the coolest thing I ever saw
here is one that runs on gas right here in town. that should work perfect.

yes, I think that would pull a buzzbait. I'd like to be their and watch a big smallmouth, take a buzzbait that was tied to the back of that. the fight would be on. :):)
Re: the coolest thing I ever saw
You know, I have thought of doing that same thing myself. Except that I thought of using a downrigger release clip attached to the boat and my line attached to the lure/bait. You could sure get your bait into some thick brush were you could not cast.
