Quantum
i tried the quantum b4 and hated it, just my thoughts tho. i went to the rick clunn reels and love them thats all i use.
I like the accurist better.
I have 3 Accurist and they are pretty good. The older models were not as sturdy as the new ones. If you want to spend a little more get a Revo. I bought one when Sportsmans was going out and it is by far the best reel I have used.

You need to use an energy DADDY.
Do you guys think # of bearings make difference? What are the important things to look for when buying a good reel like the ones mentioned? I know it maybe a dumd question but im still a novice.
i would go with quantum. and i try to look for the number of bearings and i like to play with the reel before i buy it like at bass pro or some where see how it comes apart and if it is still smooth with the the drag and the settings tightend down. some reels will fill smooth becouse the drag and all the settings are set as lose as possable. and when you are messing with it some reels just seem losely put together. i dont know how to explain it but if you play with differnt reels you can tell a difference between a good reel and a cheaper made reel. hope this helps.
2 words..... Abu Garcia.
I'm an Abu Garcia fan as well. I own a Silver Max and love it. Easy to cast and it was relatively cheap.
Quantum. For sure.. Let all those other guys purchase the ABU GARCIAS and you will (CAN) be using your Quantum when they are replacing their reels..
