Hopefully someone with more Nolin experience will chime in here..but for what it's worth, I've gone twice the last two weeks and caught a few. The ones I have caughten have all been keepers at least. I put in at Moutardier and fished all around there, never leaving sight of the place. Caught some nice ones on cranks in about 6 foot of water, also brush hogs in watermelon/red have been pretty good. Last water temps I saw were 71.3. Good luck!

Might try a white zoom trick worm. Also, that watermelon/red baby brush hog can be good.
Also, try a small red fin or floating rapala....toss it around stumps close to the bank and let it sit. Then work it out to the next stump realllll slow....and let it sit. Guarantee something will happen. OK, I don't guarantee it, but try it.
I was at my place in Braier Creek, I had company so I didn`t get to fish like I normaly do but I got to fish about 2 hours Sat night and had a ball. Nothing big but alot of 14-17 in Lmouths. I was catching them throwing a zoom worm on a Charlie brewer slider jig. One of my fav ways to fish. All my fish was in 3 ft or less of water around wood. I tryed a fluke but couldn`t get them to hit it. The water is still down about 15ft and was 72-73. I even seen people (will kids, and they will swim anytime) swimming. I man and his wife was fishin off our trees in front of the dock for 2 hours,,he said he caught about 12-13 keepers out of it,,,bet he was ticked off when our 2 labs went swimming right in the middle of the trees...LOL Sorry Dude. Even caught a few nice Gills on a flyrod..

Wish I could, Thursday is difficult...I have to be back in BG to pick my girl up from school @ 2:00pm. Tues or Wed work best for me....as in, don't have to be back at any specific time.
I hit your creek today and pulled out some nice keepers. Two went over 3lbs with several 2+lbers. The bite was early, and all were caught shallow with a shad rap. Both bigger fish came to the boat with their spawning buddy right along side. :) A couple nice crappie couldn't resist that shad rap either! :D
