The crappie have already spawned. I was there the first 2 weeks of april.

Just curious if the LM were yet with the bfl out of paris todaythe scale will tell the tale.
I fished this past Wed. Lots of smaller males in the 12-13" range. Larger fish came off of points leading into bays. Shallow fish were all smaller. No signs yet of any spawning. No red tails, didn't see any fish in the shallows. The males were hitting almost anything you wanted to throw. Caught them on wacky rigs, jerkbait, chatterbait, but the majority of fish came on shallow running cranks. Three biggest fish (about 3lb each) came on a Bomber Shallow A fished on points.
