I was happy for the young fella he deserved a shot and he'll make good on it to. Can you imagine using him on short yardage downs, is it gonna be play action, is it gonna be a pass, is it gonna be him running that big frame at ya with a purpose??
How bout him in the flats as a tight end, he has no problem lowering his head and bringing the pain.
I agree heck he is still a young man he can get bigger with some serious training. Put some extra pads on him and make him a half back.
I know he is slotted for QB but I still don't think it's his destiny in the NFL.
Who among us would not be proud to be the parent of Tim Tebow?
Yes, he had a fantastic college career and I also have doubts on his ability to adapt to the pros. That being stated, it is refreshing to see someone with his ability and character in the NFL. It's nice to see someone with ethics and a love of the Lord in lieu of some of the thugs that are pro football players.

Tyme,
I agree 100% with your post! It's such a breath of fresh air to see and hear this young man speak. His love for the game and his appreciation for the opportunities he has been given sets him apart already.
He might not be the best in the NFL but I bet he tries as hard or harder than any other rookie.
I think Tebow was the most decorated and probably the best COLLEGE Quarterback I ever saw. Not saying this because he passed for 500 yards and 5 TD's every game but saying it because he put the Lord first, was a winner second and made everybody on his team better. I saw an interview a couple of years ago that when Tebow and Brandon Spikes (the LB that was just drafted by the Patriots with the 62nd pick) were on a recruiting visit to Alabama. this was the very first time they had met but after 2 hours they asked Brandon where he was going to attend college. He said "whereever he goes", "he" was Tebow. Pretty impressive for an 18 yr old stud football player to have that kind of impact on another 18 yr old stud football player in only 2 hours. Then Tebow committed to Florida and the next day Spikes committed to Florida as well. Tebow is a class act and his parents should be as proud as parents can be.
Now that being said: I think Tebow will be a decent Pro QB based on his work ethic, leadership ability and brains for the game. I don't think he will make an immediate impact and think the Broncos screwed up and could have traded down to the middle of the 3rd round and he would have still been available. They could have gotten another draft choice for the late first rounder that they used on Tebow. I think there was teams that would have traded a 2nd and late 3rd round pick in exchange for the late first rounder that was used on Tebow. The Broncos could have still taken Tebow in the 2nd and picked up another body in the 3rd
And have you seen his girlfriend..........................
I agree he should have gone 2nd or 3rd round based on his QB abilities. He was a surprise pick for sure huh? Man I wish him well and hope he has a platform on a National stage for bringing God back into some of the interviews that are held with NFL players.
You would think that the Commish would like that as well because as of late his interviews are all about why Pacman Jones, big Ben, Plaxico Burress or some numb nuts that broke the law....
