I agree with the Maryland coach on this. I would love to see the NBA do the draft like Major League baseball. All high school players are eligible for the draft and they can still sign with a college. If they are drafted then they can negotiate with the team for their contract until a certain deadline. They then have the option to go to college or to the pros. If they choose college they are not eligible for the draft for three years. I believe this would benefit both the NBA and the NCAA.

It should, I am pretty sure it is part of the league's collective bargaining agreement with the union and that expires soon.
