Now that it has rain on us alot

I'm going to rough this week and I have to seek the knolage of those who would know alot better then me, When would be the best day's to fish.
I'm thinking of going this after noon and tomarrow.
How long will it take them to bring it back down to summer pool?
What fish would be the best to go after?
Would it be worth my time to fish way back in the creeks or would it be too muddy?
