anybody see Noah floating down the river!!!
This is one heck of a rain which should really mess up a lot of the bass spawn in the big lakes. So much for a spring, shallow, bush, flip/surface bite trip for me this year. I think the corp of engineers web site computers went under water this afternoon but the last they displayed Barkley had jumped 3 feet already and I am sure it is still rising. At least at this rate I should be able to stock my basement soon and can at least fish close! Geez we go from one extreme to the other - cold winter, very warm spring. Dry early spring to the flood of 2010. What in the world next? Has to be global warming -- Obama and Gore say so...

I seen him floting down rough river while ago .. I went there and just got back there was a older man and woman down at everleigh boat ramp wanting to fish and he said he maked the ramp and it had come up 1 foot in one hour it was rolling pretty good back there and there was alot of logs making there way to god knows where.
Re: anybody see Noah floating down the river!!!
i wonder if i should use a black or white spinnerbait out here in my driveway? people have been catching bass around ford trucks, crappie are hitting good on chevy models. they say you adapt to your envoirment, at this rate we will all have gills by summer.:)
on a serious note... i live on barren river lake (beaver creek boat ramp), 8am i drove down to the ramp and water was just touching the bottom of the walk out dock. at 4pm it was already OVER the walk out dock so that is about 3.5-4ft. even if the rain stops there is no telling how much of the run off will still accumulate. guess ill be fishing in the tree tops soon.

Re: anybody see Noah floating down the river!!!
well, here is another update. at beaver creek boat ramp in my last post it water level was just over the walk out dock you use to get into your boat. water is probably up another 5-6ft from 8am. it is almost up to the parking lot at beaver creek boat ramp.
