Re: Mission: Lake Herrington
Fish the docks with tube or worm. Throw topwater at the mouths of the major creeks early am or late pm for hybrids.. Prepare to pay 10 bucks to launch your boat.
Hey guys this year i really want to start fishing herrington more. Been fishin cedar a lot but want to fish herrington some too. Will be after largemouths, striper, an maybe some crappie. Ya'll got any advice?
(I know i ask for advice often, but just wantin to know as much as I possibly can bout fishin)
Thanks
There are no stripers in Herrington, only hybrids. Soft plastics are always a good choice, no matter the season. Crankbaits are pretty good too in the spring, as are spinnerbaits. Colors? Let the fish tell you what they want.
Oh yeah......the water fluctuations change this lake alot -- especially the recent drop for surveying of the dam (now back on the rise again with all this rain). Tough lake to figure out and dangerous to run at night, even though I do it all summer long in the night tournaments.
Re: Mission: Lake Herrington
