bluegrass may 1 &2
I slayed them this past weekend, rain or shine the fish were biting, caught most of the big bass on the main lake, had two over 20 inches, was throwing a new bait that i got from Big John and the fish would just eat it, my son even caught a bunch on that bait, i even caught one with a swimbait on a bed while waiting to get out of the water. going to try and fish ky lake next weekend with the water up in the bushes.:p

South end of Kentucky was on FIRE Sunday. Heath had over 25#'s. They tossed back a lot of 3's. Biggest was a 7# 11oz female with a very bloody tail. From what I can tell they are going to drop the lake to summer pool pretty quick. Let's hope it goes that well Sunday for our tourney. Are you doing the triton owners tourny Paul? And if you're down on Kentucky Sunday let me know. We are going out of Paris and can show you a few spots down there if you want.

Did big John put you on those money hounds? I've been telling him to try those cause I've been hammering them on bluegrass with them.

Yeah trigger x crawls are very nice baits. Especially around days with rain.

Yo, get this bait!
I went to gander and got this bait after paul told me about it. Took it out this morning to a pond i fish in newburgh... 3lb bass first fish of the day. I rigged it with a 4/0 EWG Gama worm Hook and a 3/16 bullet sinker.
Went through three and switched to the rattle because smaller ones were tearing them up so bad I didnt want to use a whole pack in 1 trip out.
I got two 6 packs in green pumpkin... Ill probably be looking trigger x up or calling the company for a big pack if possible. Crawfish immitations are like my cornerstone bait and this could oust the chigger craw as my primary bait.

haha, i had one on a 1/4 oz jighead today and as soon as it went in the water my rod tip was bending... set the hook and presto... nice little 1.5 pound bass on the first cast of the day.
I love these baits... I do not love their senko-esque durability however. I have yet to catch more than 3 bass on one before its RIP for the bait.
PS... wasnt sure if you wanted to know but Trigger X is a rapala brand.
