Possum Ridge is open. Settler's Trace marina's parking lot under water. Van Buren closed and salt River is in the fields at the 248 bridge. Water color is OK at Possum, but hard to fish as water is up in the trees and it is tough to get close to the bank. I'm not a big fan of flippin in 25 foot of water. Plenty of floating debris.
Looks like to me it is 23' above summer pool.
All boat ramps are closed except Possum Ridge. I was there today, debris is getting worse, several large logs floating and blocking where the ramp is suppose too be. Corps of Engineers website said it is up 23.5 feet and rising. There was several boats there and putting there boat on the trailer was difficult, the water is almost to the flat area of the parking lot.
Can you lock down into the salt river....................? I hear there is some good sight fishing going on.

sorry there is no lock on the salt but they are in the process of building a boat ramp on the low side, don't know when it will be done.
How is it now that they have let the water down a bunch??? Is possum ridge still the only ramp open???
I'd say its because the Ohio has come down a bunch--they have somewhere else to put the water now.
Just got back from Taylorsville. The water is down quite a bit. It is heavy stain but not muddy. I would say 2ft visibility. Most of the debris is washed up on the sides and we had no problem running pretty fast. The water is way up in the timber and the edge of the timber is pretty much 20+ feet of water. We tried pitchin and flippin plastics and jigs, threw chatter baits, spinner baits, and crankbaits. We didnt even get a smell. I felt one bump all day and missed it. I did have one fish swipe at my crankbait as it landed on teh surface, but you could see it was small...
We ended up leaving early because teh wind was ridiculous out there
