Tungsten Jigs and shimano rods q's
1.Has anybody ever used thses jigs? I love Tungsten products but have never tried these, although they are a little pricey?
2. I broke a rod last week and have been shopping around. Its a worm/jig rod and I have several BPS rods which I really like for the comfort and price. However Im interested in shimano rods with the lifetime warranty. So this means if I ever break it its replaced totally free? Just take it back where I purchased it, no questions ask? Also what rods would someone reccomend, I dont want to spend the mortgage on one.....thnx!
Re: Tungsten Jigs and shimano rods q's
I like my regular jigs, for the main reason that I lose quite a few in the rocks here.
As far as the shimano warranty, you don't even have to take it back to where you got it, any shimano dealer will swap it out for you. I would definitely go with the cumara for a worm/jig rod - the sensitivity is hard to beat.
Re: Tungsten Jigs and shimano rods q's
What about the e21 rods? I've heard they are really sensitive and have a good warranty and they are a little cheaper. I dont have either one just kinda a follow up question to orignal post.

I agree with Col as far as the jigs go. Leads a lot cheaper and you tend to loose them. With the rod he is dead on too but if you want a cheaper rod go with the Shimano Clarus. It is a heck of a rod for the money and has the lifetime warrenty.

I've got both and love them both. However, I will say if you are going to get a carrot stix, the gold series are well worth the extra $50 (It puts them at the same price of the cumara).
Re: Tungsten Jigs and shimano rods q's
I'll second the Clarus. It's hard to find a rod with lifetime warranty for $69.95 & their well worth looking at in my opinion. I have a 7'6" heavy for fishing jigs & like it. No their not the best made, but they're definitley worth the money & pretty good rods to boot. I like mine especially after a buddy stepped on a jig rod of mine of another brand & it had no warranty.
Re: Tungsten Jigs and shimano rods q's
Thanks for the help, I thank im going with a shimano rod! I buy won now and for the rest of my fishing life im covered! As far as Tungsten jigs, im going to buy a couple just out of interest?

Careful with those jigs. I am just worried that I will like them as much as I did tungsten worm weights - now I won't use anything else.
