Looking to get a nice one for frog and soft plastic jerkbait fishing. Was leaning toward Shimano or Loomis. I'm wanting lightweight, fast tip with plenty of backbone. Any ideas?

I haven't bought a Cumera spinning rod - yet - but really like the Cumera baitcaster! It's as sensitive as my Loomis rods and in store replacement can't be beat.
If I was looking to save some money friends have said good things about BPS Carbonlite rods . . . but maybe I have too many rods now!
What kind of money are you talking about Don?
I will have to keep up with this on. I want a heaver spinning outfit then the one i have. It's a 6' old Browning The Gold Medalion Graphite Rod model # M32906 Line WT 2-10 lbs. lure WT 1/8-3/8 OZ. It is over 20 years old I gave like $80 for it then it is a blast to catch crappie and gills on and when you hook into that 4 Lbs bass hang on. Thats the biggest thing i have caught on it..
I bought a Shimano Crucial a few months back and absolutely love it. $149 bucks and an in store replacement.
if your old and wore out like me, the new carbonlite from bps is hard to beat, as far as being light it would be hard to find a lighter one for under 100.00.
BPS Extreme Spinning Rods - quality rods at an excellent price. On sale for $69.99 online.
Ryan I was thinking $200? Less if possible....
I looked at that one and it felt good. What model do you have?
Any medium action one piece rod will work, those things your talking about are about 75 sight bites. Hey if you got it spend it,as long as its made in america.
