Wow, what a terrible loss. Prayers to family and friends...I fish that area quite a bit and know how tempting it is to go inside of the marker bouys that are meant to keep people out of that tail water area. I won't make that mistake again.
i know last year they were crackin down on people gettint to close and passing bouys i talked to a local GW and he said they were going to let people back in closer to the damns after all the complaints they got last year id say after this and what happened at barkley they will crack down again
That is sad. Thoughts and prayers go out to that young mans family. It's shocking that both recent accidents were with the men wearing life jackets.
