We are going to KY Lake the 3rd week of July and staying at the Moors. Does anyone have any ideas on what the bass will be doing in that part of the lake, ie grass vs ledges??

The grass is gone as far as I've seen. The high waters the past few springs has pretty much eliminated it. Of course, there may be some grass left in areas I haven't been. Just giving you my observations.
Soooo, that pretty much leaves ledges during the daytime and points and banks at night. Good luck.
Like Slop said, the top 3 patterns for Bass during the daytime are #1 Ledges, #2 Ledges and #3 Ledges. Nightime Bass fishing would be Ledges, Points, Humps and Deeper Channel banks. For Brownfish then fish the LBL side straight across from the Moores with Big Single Colorado Spinnerbaits, Tubes and Jigs. Good Luck
Your primary pattern will be fishing ledges. Your back up pattern will be shallow on schools of shad fry from the spring spawns.
