Lane Kiffin gets what he deserves

Funny what goes around sometimes comes around and the way that Kiffin left Tennessee and the way he did the recruits, he gets what he deserves. USC on probation, 2 years of no bowl games, loss of 10 scholarships a year for 3 years and a decrease in recruiting procedures. Love to see coaches who sign these "contracts" with schools and then bail out on their "committment" before it ends only to go elsewhere and then either fall on their face or have something like this happen. Now only if Texas, Oklahoma and some other schools will get in the Pac 10 to make his life a bit more miserable would be more justice.

Pat Forde said it... who leaves teh best conference in College Football knowing they were under investigation??? And notice how Carroll passed up killer jobs in the NFL and then all of a sudden accepts a job at the crappy seahawks... he knew it was coming....

Well Im glad someone posted on this, thank you elnuts! I think he got exactly what he deserved. Now the Vols will be rebuilt and back to the top notch program of days gone by before USC becomes revelant again. One day in my perfect world, the VOLS will go undefeated and so will usc. We will play usc for the national championship, and it will be all VOLS. If-WHEN-that happens I will be able to die a happy man....GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't Oklahoma sign up or request to get into the SEC??
Well I looked it up and from what I read the Pac 10 is the biggest possibility. Pretty much Sooners will follow Texas according to the article.

They better not go to the SEC if they want a shot at any football championships!:)

Not sure but nebraska is joining the big ten in 2011. I think with all theshake up thats about to take place, these schools will see what the SEC is like every year. This will seperate the contenders from the pretenders. I think I saw some where that boisie state is joining a conference, dont remember which one..

Yeah SEC football is the standard. Ohio state found out many times! I almost felt sorry for them for a few years.

Boise State is joining the Mountain West Conference.

Woody I thought it was funny as hell. Kiffin is a joke and he deserves this totally.

Pete Carroll was a hack to, I never liked that guy, to much of a pretty boy coach for me with his littlle turtle necks. He was a bigtime cheater to and all this proves it.

Carroll and Bush can say what they want but this is not an "i" dotted or "t" crossed issue. The rules infraction committee does not hand out this kind of penalty for "minor" infractions. This has to be pretty close to the death penalty, which would be nice. The say that Juniors and Seniors can transfer without any penalty and that schools can contact these kids as well. Love to see a BUNCH of them transfer and USC go about 2-9 the next couple of seasons.
