Is he lucky? That's a toss up on that one. I think the lucky guy is the one it doesn't happen to and the unlucky guy is the one who gets the bad one in a billion chance of something happening to him.....twice!
But nothing compares to Obamy becoming POTUS. Talk about lucky! The rest of us get the unlucky part because who would have thought a community organizer with no experience, terrorists friends, slumlord real estate deals, attends a racist hate filled church, has Muslim family ties, dark shady background full of corruption would get elected POTUS!
Sorry Tim I had to toss the Obamy comparison in there....
wow
I'm thinking he's unlucky for a third reason, namely, being sent to that hospital:
"The biggest cut was so deep and wide that doctors at WakeMed Cary Hospital couldn't sew it up. They bandaged Oliver and told him to keep pressure on the lacerations."
If you don't have a plastic surgeon at the hospital who can repair the wound properly, you send him to a regional medical center that does. You don't just put a bandage on it and say, "Sorry, we can't sew that up. You'll just have to hold pressure on it." There's got to be more to the story that they didn't have room to print or something. I mean, that's like saying, "Sorry Mr. Smith, we're not equipped to give clot-busters for heart attacks here. Here's an aspirin, chew it up. Bye."
