Bring on the Alberta Clippers.....
Never too early to start begging for 30 degrees, Sleet, Snow, Overcast, Not to see the sun all day long, water temps around 50, any Tues, Wed or Thursday on Dale Hollow Lake with my FNF rod in hand sitting on a honey hole or two waiting for the bobber to be pulled under by BIG MRS. BROWN!!!!
Re: Bring on the Alberta Clippers.....
Why does this post not suprise me. It is 100 out side and you are wanting it to snow. 5 months and counting before we defend our championship and I cant wait. Hope you are getting better.
Re: Bring on the Alberta Clippers.....
Amen, brother.
Can't wait to throw the FNF. The fishing off season nearly kills me.
Re: Bring on the Alberta Clippers.....
Winter cant get here fast enough. I havent been fishing in a couple weeks because its to hot. We going to do another get together this year? Had a blast last year.
Re: Bring on the Alberta Clippers.....

As far as a get together, I guess we need to find out how many are interested and see if anyone wants to volunteer to put it together or any suggestions as to someone to put it together. If there are enough interested and nobody wants to volunteer to head it up, I will do it again this year.

You can throw it anytime but it is hard to throw that 30 foot leader that is needed to get down deep enough this time of year. Not to mention the increased chance of catching a jet ski, joy boater or tuber on the water. I have yet to see one of them brave enough to play in the water at Dale Hollow in December when it is a balmy 50 degree water temps.
Re: Bring on the Alberta Clippers.....
I would like to nominate Elwood to head it up again. I think everything went great last year and I really enjoyed meeting new people and also the grab bags were great. I know it is early but maybe we can pin a post where people who are intrested can leave there name. Just a thought.
Re: Bring on the Alberta Clippers.....
