Wilgreen Report
Got to the lake around 7ish. Started fishing around 730 and caught two fat 13 inchers off fallen trees off a crank suspended around the ends. Put on a 10 inch worm and headed up the lake and nothing. Downsized to a 6 inch paddletail and a few short strikes here and there. Threw a buzz in the back of coves and nothing. Threw kermit around some grass and lost a 2 pounder. Only blow-up I had on it. Put on a baby paca craw pitching wood and had a chunker on and it came off under the black light. Then the lightning came around 2AM and Wilgreen for me turned into a sprint for the dock. Bolts out of nowhere hitting stuff around the lake was no fun. Talked to another guy at the dock and he said it was slow for them as well. Better luck next time I guess.

Re: Wilgreen Report
Is willgreen a ilde speed only lake? If so..I think it is still legal to wind that engine out to get to a safe spot when inclement weather sets in. I have done 60 on Beaver lake in lawrenceburg and no one said a word, during a tourney and the game warden was at the dock. Dont really matter to me if its illegal or not! I dont hesitate to get off the water when it gets the lightning!
Good report as well, thank you.

Re: Wilgreen Report
Yeah it is idle speed. I was around mid lake when the bolts were hitting the ground. That is only the third time I have been scared by a storm on the water.
