What are your thoughts on it? I have had one for at least 3-5 years now and have never used it while BOWHUNTING. Although I know it says it's odor free, I am reluctant to use it in fear that it will spook the deer. Have any of you used it on MULTIPLE occassions to know whether or not it really spooks the deer or not? I hope to get some feedback on this because I really want to use this during the early bowhunting season, but will only do so if it is safe to without spooking the deer...Thanks JD
I broke down and bought one a couple of years ago after about being carried out of the tree by the mosquitoes. Early season bowhunting suddenly wasn't fun anymore because of the bugs. I was willing to try anything. It was like night and day after the Thermacell. I sat in the same stand I had a few days before where they were constantly on me and saw about a 90% reduction. I'm a believer. Deer never seemed to smell it although it does put off a little odor. Give it a try. How bad wrong can you go for $25 bucks?
My cousin uses his while bowhunting and says he has never had a problem. I have never tried one myself.
