Anyone know how far it is from Pandora Marina to the ripples at Dix river? Heading out for a joy ride with the family and figured I would explore the lake. O a link to a good map showing distance and topo would be helpful.
Thank you, Bill

Hey Bill,
Don't know of any links for topo maps for Herrington but I would recommend being very careful. There are some stick-ups that are in places that they weren't before and some gone that had been there for years (due to the spring flood). I have seen folks tubing in areas near Bryants camp (really shallow in some spots there)? Just go slow and follow the channel with your depth finder. Although I don't run much past Bryants (up the river), I do know it has claimed several lower units over the years with big rocks and stick-ups.
Be careful, Good luck, God bless and have fun,
Tim

I don't know for sure, but either someone told me or I herd the lake is 18 miles long, I'm guessing that is from the **** to the river' Ive been all the way to the ripples it's been a long time, swing the points wide after you go through the hogs back, you should be OK. JMO

Thanks for the replies. I went to a local gas station here in Burgin and got a map. Brad's BP. Lake is 32 miles long from the dam to the river. I will have on the electronics and going slow. Thanks again. Hope to return with lower unit still there.
Anyone know how far to ripples from bryants or where i can get a map?
thanks
