Rail mounted bow headlights.
Thinking about bow docking lights, don't want to cut holes in the hull, and looking low coast alternatives to a remote controlled portable search/spot light. Just need something to add some light when running, looking for a bank, or inbound to a dark ramp or dock. Just to have the cheapo docking lights/55 watts, on my pontoon, and they were all I needed.
Does anybody know of anywhere or URL or brand of docking lights that can be mounted on you bow rails? I figure that way I won't knock them off while docking, don't need to make holes in the hull, and would be fixed mounted as that's all I really need.
Any ideas, oh wizzards of the really cool but hard to find practical boat stuff.
Re: Rail mounted bow headlights.
Maybe a bolt-on or clamp-on type mount to your trolling motor? I've seen this a few times.
If you want to go all out and want a remote control light that's easily removed for daytime use, try the GoLight, it's around $300.
