Bassfan Article.
Pretty good read in this article and I agree with what he's talking about. There needs to be some changes on both the FLW and BASS side. I really like the point he made about your everyday Joe fishing against the top elite guys just because they have a large trust fund, or own a company. I would say about 30% of the FLW field even deserves to fish the tour. they just have deep pockets.

Re: Bassfan Article.
I also agree with getting rid of the made for TV stuff. I dont care about the BASS postseason. I would be just as happy watching the show if it involved 2 more full field events. The post season robs the AOY of its true meaning and only makes it easier for the other guys to catch the leader. The Classic is the one big winner take all event there doesnt need to be a postseason.
A unified champion should be crowned as well. My opinion is the top 15 or so in the FLW AOY race should qualify for the Classic.

Re: Bassfan Article.
I also would like to see the best from B.A.S.S and the best from FLW compete against each other in a few tournaments then maybe have a WORLD CHAMPION event.
But I don't think the top from one should be able to fish the classic or the cup of the other.
That's why it is called the Bass Masters Classic and the Forest Wood Cup.
But a separate Tournament Trail to unify to two would be cool and would give us more fishing to watch.

Yeah we could call it "Ultimate Match fishing" lol, I agree separate yet compete for a unified. Kind of like football AFC/NFC

Re: Bassfan Article.
They have tournaments where anglers from both circuits compete, it is the Professional Anglers Association. Some of the top pros like KVD are not fishing it, but most of the big names from both circuits are. They just had their second tournament this past weekend at Lake Norman, NC. It was won by Edwin Evers.
