Big Head Carp
My fishing partner snagged one this morning at the lower dam at Mcalpine . Weighed in at 25 pounds.
He snagged it right at the dorsal fin and had a heck of a fight and lots of fun pulling it in.
We did a catch and release but I cut it's stomach before releasing.

Water temp still too warm I think ,at least that's my story LOL
Where are all the white bass?? Usually we can't keep those off our baits and I haven't caught a white since winter time sauger fishing?

Re: Big Head Carp
jfw, I think we saw each other as that was the time we were there too.We were in the blue Stratos with two old dudes in it.:o I think we met both launching and recovering at New Albany. ?? We launched about 9:30 and left around 12:30 or 1:00
I'll agree with you on the water temp theory.
A few weeks ago the hybrids/stripes/ or whatever were below the hydros. I posted a little blurb about it here.
