ohh I can't wait for the next two weekends at C-land.....FOR THEM TO BE OVER!
looking forward to cool foggy fall mornings and mildly warm days and the distant memories of jet skis and speedboats of a long since passed summer. Yup can't wait for the next two weeks to be over!
Okay I know this is gonna sound bad....shame on me.
1. It would be neat if they had the Poker Run on Labor day. I bet we'd get a lot of drunken idiots off the lake permanently.
2. The good news about both of these......HOTTIES BY THE BOAT LOAD.
Recommendation: Take the boat, not fishing rods, but a good pair of 10X binos. Live a little!
3. Want to have a lot of fun? Get a case of beer on ice, set up a lawn chair at the J-Town or Allegator 2 ramp at 9 am, set up the shade umbrella, get the video camera ready, and you will be well entertained.
I can't comment on Cumberland anymore I might get beat up, lol.

If I've never agreed with HurricanceBob before...and for the matter if I've never agreed with anything I've read on fishin.com, I sure do agree with the statement Bob made! Heck for that matter, on any given Friday or Saturday night just get in with some of the residents of the marina of your choice, hang out awhile, etc...and I swear you'll feel like you've walked into a striper/stripper club. Not that I've ever been inside a club like that, just sayin'...
While this sort of activity hasn't necessarily ruined the lake, it's taken some of the fun out of going during the summer in my opinion. But to each his own I guess. C'mon cooler temps! Bring on the cold fronts!!
Have any of you ever fished a mudline with the lake rock&rollin from the boat wakes. It confuses the bait fish and the Ky's Smallies Walleyes and Stripes move in for the kill.

Done it many times with some pretty good results. My biggest largehead ever caught out of that lake was while my wife was floating on a raft in a cove on Fourth of July weekend, lol. But heck maybe I just imagined the whole thing what do I know about how to fish Cumberland, lmao.
