That practice catching Gar & Carp on the fly pays off!
I know this is a discussion about Ky fishing, but I wanted to share a couple pics of some Reds I caught on the fly while in Panama City Beach last week. Took the boat back down and did some fishing while we were on vacation....:D Saw lots of Reds and caught some nice Trout as well! Had a good week in the Panhandle!

I was using a 10wt, but that was a little over kill. It was windy but an 8wt would have done the job as well. 8wt is a great all around rod!! Take a look at Temple Fork Fly Rods if you're searching for a rod. They make great rods without breaking the bank and have a great replacement warranty with great customer service.... I should know....:D I broke one a few years back... Send my rod back with $25 and it was replaced super quick!
