any info on the Ohio ? been down for a while

so i have not fished in 3-4 months or so, im april we brought our second son into the world, we were blessed with a healthy 9lb baby boy and hes almost doubled in size 4 months later. bad thing is that i had knee sugery and have not been having good luck with it , back to work but some days i dont even realize i had the sugery. enough of that though....

this weekend i have to get out so i guess im going to the river , will be from the shore so has anyone been doing any good any where ? falls , hydro's off 22nd street or any of the creek mouths running into the river ?

i also have been hearing from a few people i work with that it has been tough catching shad , does anyone know the truth behind that ?

would greatly apreciate any info ,

Hey there King, I`ve been down a few times,,,you never know about the river ,,,it`s real low right now,,they play with the water alot. I went sunday and they had all the water off,,no gates and no gen`s,,but caught alot of fish,,went back monday and they had the lower gates wide open and 2 gen`s,, so you never know,,,but i bet the bank fishin wont be all tha good,,due to low water and no current. But if you feel froggy this weekend and get out in a boat fishing,,you can ride along with me...I can usely find fish..and bait

would love to , im avalible saturday or sunday pretty much any time. just let me know.

Naw Tyme, Doug just likes to pass the "hurting around". See his last couple posts about freezing his butt off and bouncing around on the river. Doug is too much of a gentleman to inflict that pain on you too near to the last time. :)

Doug, as soon as I can get some more life insurance, I'll go fishing with you, but we have to take my boat. I want to make sure the ambulance driver learns to recognizes my bow numbers. :eek:
