If you are going to Taylorsville Saturday, Possum Ridge ramp is closed for a wakeboard competion. They had to move the TNT tournament to Van
Buren. Be Careful out there and good luck.
Well got out their Saturday morning. Started out jigging for the Crappie using tube jigs. My fishing partner caught 10 bass with the Crappie Jigs. One bass was 16 inches and another was 15 and 1/2 inches!!!! The last big tournament of the year was going on. Their were boats all around us and we were slaying them on Crappie Jigs. We caught all those bass in about 30 minutes. We finally went up in a cove with stumps and trees everywhere. We fished minnows about 4 -8 ft down and only caught one crappie. My friend caught one 9 incher on a jig. So the Crappie were not biting, but the bass were after Crappie jigs. Never seen that before. Had a good time.

I've got a buddy that flat out hammers the bass with crappie jigs on KY Lake. Pretty amazing actually. He said the hardest part is to not work the fish too hard because the small hooks tend to straighten!
