I went back to rough river today and it is turning over big time the water is all black now but the crappie is still bitting.
A few days ago i could see down 3 foot and now looking in the same spot I can only see about a foot and the water is black.
Will this shut down the crappie fishing?
What part of the lake were you fishing? I fished around Axtel yesterday and today. The water was extremely clear.

its not that simple
lake turns over when water at teh surface is colder and therefore heavier than teh water below it... that can happen at any temperature...

Axtel wasnt too bad but the water there is deep so it will take longer to turn, I was close to axtel the water was Black..
