Sample ballot for Floyd County,IN

Above is a link for a sample ballot for Floyd County,IN.
I performed a Google search for the history of the judges in question.
I feel that I have at least somewhat educated myself in order to come to a rational decision on retaining (or not) the named judges.
The question of voting for Barron Hill is not up for debate. He has to go.
The time for CHANGE is coming soon.
Re: Sample ballot for Floyd County,IN
I still don't like the fact that judges are elected officials. They need to be basing their decisions on what the law says, not what will get them re-elected. Judgements that are legally correct are not always going to be politically correct.
Re: Sample ballot for Floyd County,IN
The judges on this ballot were not elected. They were appointed. The question on the ballot is "Should Judge Roy Bean be retained in office"?
Re: Sample ballot for Floyd County,IN
Thanks for clarifying. If the majority vote "No," does that mean he gets removed?

That is my understanding. Then the current Governor would appoint another of his/her cronies.

Well crud nobody is going against Keith Henderson for prosecutor. Guess I just won't connect the arrow on that one.
A crime is really only a crime if the prosecutor decides to take action. He didn't want to take action against someone that took 4000 dollars from my wife and I and is probably somewhere in the US stealing from someone as we speak.
