The Economic Times has left me with no choice
I have been sick for a very long time as most of you know. Right now I have 2 more hernias, kidney stones and gall stones plus need knee surgery. Doctor bills continue to pile up and can't get one paid off until 5 more come in the door so I have made a drastic decision. -
First Wave: Striper Fishing Time for Elnutsmalljaws to get out of fishing. Plan on getting rid of the boat in January but until then plan on getting rid of a bunch of my stuff to help us pay for my medical bills. I have a list on the other board. I keep my stuff in an airconditioned garage seperated by plano trays. This stuff is not off the shelf perfect and maybe been inside a 5lb Brownfish at one point. If I list them as new then yan bet it never hit the water.ou c

Re: The Economic Times has left me with no choice
Mis read your post, thought you were going to quit fishing entirely.Even though I lived 14 miles from cumberland, I am also about done with stripers, cant make those long steep walks with out paying for it for a couple of days. Wish you well on the sale, have similar stuff I'l be getting rid of. I know I was bummed out when I got rid of my salmon and steel head gear.My partner bought out my share of the boat, so it didn't cost me very much.
Re: The Economic Times has left me with no choice
It was only a year or so ago when I was battling a health issue and selling my boat was "on the table". I hope things go well for you. In many ways, fishing has helped me cope with much of it. What do you mean by "the other board"?

I won't be doing much fishing. Striper stuff is the first to go because I don't see me using it anyways this year. Considering selling all my Bass stuff as well but am going to wait until after December. Come January the boat will be gone and then the big sale will happen for the majority of the rest. For those that know me also know I have a small tackle shop in my garage of stuff that I have accumulated over the years before I got sick when I was a Plant Manager and had a lot more money. No big deal for I have been preparing and expecting it to happen for a while now.
Re: The Economic Times has left me with no choice
ok first things first....good luck to you during your surgeries and recovery...secondly good luck selling your stuff i hope u get what you need....and finally, after you recover im sure you will want to replace your boat and fishin stuff, until that happens you are welcome on my boat anytime! i fish literally almost everyday and most of my buddies just cant get that much time on the lake so i usually have room. and by the way i primarily striper and smallmouth fish but if it swims it aint safe! send me a pm sometime with your phone number and we'll set it up. good luck
